El Faro - Chile

I am beyond excited to announce JRD's first project in Chile; "El Faro", an off grid lighthouse inspired house overlooking the ocean, in a beautiful rural area called Huape on the southern coast of Chile.

Huape is magical; surrounded by native forests, freshwater rivers and the rough deep blue pacific ocean. Biodiversity is still well protected here, with an abundance of birds, whales and dolphins.

Collaborating with Fernando Coz, Executive Director of Chile Lagos Limpios, we plan to create a peaceful retreat, which by design feels like it is symbiotic to the land where it sits.
